For providers

I work with adults who may understand what they want or need to change but struggle to translate that insight into consistent action in everyday life.

Wellness coaching can provide structured support around behavior change, goal setting, problem solving, and follow-through while remaining clearly within the scope of coaching and complementary to medical and behavioral health care.

When a referral may be helpful

Wellness coaching may be a useful complement to care when someone is ready to make changes but would benefit from additional structure and support outside of clinical appointments.

A referral may be appropriate for someone who is:

  • Struggling to translate insight or recommendations into consistent action

  • Feeling overwhelmed by competing priorities, responsibilities, or life transitions

  • Working to establish or maintain routines that support their health and well-being

  • Navigating changes in work, caregiving, relationships, or other roles

  • Having difficulty with organization, follow-through, boundaries, or sustainable behavior change

  • Ready for action-oriented support that complements ongoing medical or behavioral health care

Clear scope. Collaborative care.

Wellness coaching is not therapy, medical care, or a substitute for either. I do not diagnose or treat mental health or medical conditions. Instead, I work with clients on the practical process of behavior change— helping them identify goals, work through barriers, build supportive structures, and follow through in everyday life.

When a client is also receiving medical or behavioral health care, coaching can reinforce and support the work happening there while maintaining clear professional boundaries.

With a client’s permission, I welcome communication with referring providers when collaboration would support continuity of care.

Referrals & collaboration

I welcome referrals from therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals who believe a client could benefit from additional support with behavior change and follow-through.
